Widemouth Bay; perfect for surf lovers

Widemouth Bay, located just 3 miles south of Bude, is a beach for those who love idyllic views and enjoy a refreshing swim every now and again. A perfect environment for lovers of the sea, as the beach is popular for surfers and swimmers alike; many surf schools have set up their bases here due to the ideal conditions this beach provides.

This is a well equipped beach with car parking and toilets. There is a cafe open during in summer season, and within walking distance are pubs and restaurants. Do not however get the impression that it is very commercialised, it is not.

This is a dog free beach from Easter to the first of October.
